Whether you are a person residing in Chomedey, a non-profit organization in Chomedey, an institutional organization or a private company, you are welcome among our members.

There are 2 categories of membership within the CDLC:

 

“Active” Members;

Within the active membership, the corporation recognizes 3 sub-categories:

1.1.1 “Community organization” membership: Any non-profit group, organization (local or regional), which intervenes in the neighborhood, and is interested in participating in the social and community development of Chomedey.

1.1.2 “Citizen” Membership; Any resident of Chomedey, 18 years +, interested in participating in the social and community development of Chomedey, whose participation does not cause a conflict of interest.

1.1.3 “Institutional” membership: Any governmental or para-governmental organization acting on the territory of Chomedey, having as interest and fields of activity,  the social development and improvement of the living conditions of the population

Rights of active membership:
– Right to speak and vote at the assembly of members.
– Eligibility to the Board of Directors

"Associate" Members;
Any private company, financial backer and elected official acting on the territory of Chomedey, interested in participating in the social and community development of Chomedey. Also, institutional members who do not wish or cannot have the right to vote.

Rights of associate members:

• Right to speak during member's assembly, no right to vote

• Cannot be elected to the Board of Directors, can sit as a guest with the right to speak BUT without the right to vote.
